Ireland apologizes to women of Catholic laundries
by designs inthe catholic laundries known as the magdelene laundries were where thousands of women were kept incarcerated as 'prostitutes' although very few actually were.
most of the thousands of women were from broken homes and homeless.. ireland has conducted 5 formal investigations into these catholic run houses.
these women were sentenced to these labor and boarding houses by the state and courts.

My visit yesterday to the congregation
by Gorbatchov inbecause my brother-in-law did the sunday talk in the congregation, we were invited to come to the congregation.. it was 3 months ago we showed our faces there.. when we entered the hall some witnesses said hello.
most of them did a far away look away.. i walked to the counter for taking the 2013 calender, the daily text book and much magazines the local clown elder (he was dressed in purple), talked to me with a loud voice "welcome!

by yadda yadda 2 injesus poured out his life blood, his soul, on behalf of mankind.
the wine taken at the memorial of christ's death represents this life, given as a sacrifice to atone for adamic sins.
jesus said that unless you eat of his flesh and drink of his blood, you have no life in yourself.

Do you think those at the top realise that it's their fault - suicide as a result of being disfellowshipped?
by jambon1 ini have been stunned to hear of two suicides in our area recently.. this adds to the other 3 that i have known of from the past.. the two recent suicides resulted from 1-the person being gay & hearing a horrific talk at the kingdom hall & 2-the person with problems who was disfelloshipped & then took his life the next week.. it astonished me that jw's in general don't rebel against this sort of thing.
it's an appalling lack of support which leads people to feel distressed, abandoned & unloved.
how the witnesses in the locality can just sail on without giving the cruelty of these measures serious though is beyond me.

How to tell family why you are no longer attending meetings?
by El_Guapo inso it has been over a month, maybe closer to two that i haven't attended a meeting.
my stress level has gone way down, and my life is pretty good right now.
well as you know, there are tons of nosy witnessess.

El Guapo, I have no idea how old you are or how old your parents are. If you are born in or not.
I am asking because If your parents "lived" thru the nightmare The Watch Tower Society put us through in 1975 and or, you were raised with that rubbish = you have stress, and they should understand because honestly, they have to feel that stress too.
This is about you and your situation El Guapo but I only have myself as reference. I pushed myself, and pushed myself, no matter how exhausted I became. Our vacations were District Conventions. Work at one, listen at the next one. Help this one, encourage that one. It is not good to get as exhausted as I feel.
Would it work with your West Coast Family to tell them you need to look after your health so you don't "burn out"?
Tell them you feel you must stop, cold turkey. No assignments, no meetings, no service. That Jehovah wants you alive, to be a help, but right now, frankly, you must look after yourself first.

I Got disfellowshiped..wana die!
by Chichi89 ini jus got dissfellowshiped at th last week..i feel like dying..i attended th meetings yesterday and ita ws jus horrible..came back home in tears....... people i used to cal my friends nw cant look me in the eye..so heartbroken confused and giving up on life !.

I live in The North Pacific and it is almost 1 AM. I must get to sleep because I have to get up early tomorrow. I don't know what time zone you are in, but I so want you to listen to the good advise here.
